- What are the key processes that explain cultural evolution over the long term and up to the present day?
- What processes produce diversity and diversification (genetic, linguistic and cultural) and what influence do environmental conditions have in these contexts?
- How do innovations emerge and spread in complex and diffuse social networks?
- What new methodologies and trans-disciplinary approaches need to be developed to better address these issues?
